Superintendents' Reports

Nevada law required that the Superintendent of Public Instruction submit a report to the Legislature every two years.  The reports covered a wide variety of topics.  They provide important information about 19th century attitudes about education and schools, many of which were much smaller and more primitive than this school house in Paradise, Nevada.
